This game was really popular in the arcades over here. Fortunately the PC version isn’t a lame imitation, it was developed the same as the arcade version. I’m glad they did make it for Atari, Amiga and DOS because it’s so damn addictive.

This game is like tetris with a twist. If you aren’t good at 3D or distinguishing colours then you’re gonna be in trouble. The blocks come down a conveyer belt towards you, and you have to collect them and deposit them into the slots below. Sort of like Tubes! However you can only hold a certain amount before they start slipping through. You can only let three slip through and then the level is over. You do get a few chances however. But you’re going to need them for the harder levels.

You are given tasks which you need to complete, such as getting 3 sets of diagonals or 10,000 points. As you play the levels they get faster, so the sooner you accomplish the tasks the better.

I really did enjoy this game. I ended up playing it for hours! Tetris is one of the best games ever made (I have about three different versions on my cellphone). So, if you enjoy tetris, you’ll love this game.

The first thing I noticed about this game is the totally funky music. To put a very personal slant on this, I didn’t like the game at all, but I did like the music, and I did like the lovely background and imagery at the top of the screen.

Press spacebar to select a difficulty of Regular, Unleaded or Premium. Ha-ha. Nice touch! Great cartoons between the levels. Shame there is only eight levels though.
Good adlib sound, nice VGA graphics, but pretty lame game-play. If I really knew how to play it then I’d probably be okay. Otherwise I just… don’t know what to say.

Stunts, possibly a game every oldgamer knows. Its about racing, stunting and designing your own stunt tracks. That is probably the most interesting bit in the game, creating your own tracks and let others race it and laugh about their mistakes. I’ve played this game a million times, together with friends or your brother, or anyone. I started out with this game on our XT, it already run on that pretty well, but it went ofcourse a lot better when we had our 286. Nowadays it runs like a charm on DosBOX and you dont need a very powerful computer either. There are lots of supported graphic modes, Hercules, CGA, EGA, MCGA 256-color and Tandy. Same goes for the sound, PC Speaker, Adlib and Roland MT-32. Although the sound isnt too interesting, you have to do it from the gameplay.

The graphics are in 3D polygon style, no sprites are being used, apart from the dashboard view, so everything is “true” 3D. The viewing range limit is maybe a bit too near, so you have to react pretty fast when a sharp corner is coming up, or the road is blocked with .. uhm .. blocks. They seam to just pop into view, it can frustrate once in a while.

There are two different race types, race against an opponent or race against the clock. Racing against an opponent is always a computer player, so its never with two people. Thats something I think lacks in the game, playing against a human opponent, it would be awesome if you could race with two players, or with more players networked. Its really a bit you miss when you play it a while. The computer players are ranging in AI from newbie till professional, allthough you can win on some tracks pretty easily from the pro AI player. The AI makes a lot of driving errors and you can easily take advantage over that. Yes, a human is more clever than the AI most of the time. So you usually and up being the first one to finish, when the AI decided to run into a blockade and crash. It makes you giggle though and you think .. “What a stupid error to make”. Racing against time is the other option and that is more fun when you’re playing in turns with a friend, just to see who is better on one of the default tracks or on the self made ones.

When you go for a race, you can choose from a variety of different cars, theres a Ferrari, a few Lamborghinis, a few Porsches, a Jaguar, an Audi, a Lancia and a few others, like an F1 racing car. If you’re racing against the newbie AI, give him the F1, for hilarious fun And you can choose your favorite color. All the cars have a different dashboard view and different drive styles.

Yeah, you heard it right, self made tracks. The game comes with a fairly simple editor, to make your own tracks. You can choose from a variety of pre-made objects, roads, bendy roads, muddy roads, icey roads, bridges, jumps, loopings, scenery, etc, and place them in one of the few different landscapes. You can make super short tracks or highly complex circuits and you can then use them in both the racing against opponents and racing against time game modes. The AI always knows the shortest route though, so when you’re making multiple branched tracks, then the AI is always the most clever one in finding the right route to the finish. But when racing against time with your friends, you’re always in for a good laugh when your friend takes the long route, or the difficult one when there is an easy road till the finish. Fun guaranteed.

Overall a pretty fun game, it will last forever when you’re playing in turns with friends and make the oddest and wierdest routes and going for the best time. Already told you the goods and the bads of the AI, so you can judge that for yourself, but I hardly used that racing option. The music is only available in the menus, so you only hear “exciting” racing sounds while driving and I think the MT-32 racing sounds arent too bad either. Its just that every car sounds alike, theres no difference in sound between an Audi Quattro or the F1 car. But thats not something thats very important in this game. The track editor is probably the best thing in the game and if it wasnt there, then it probably would be the most boring game ever. But for this one, two thumbs up!

I’m not sure what makes the deluxe version better than the normal version, but this game sure did feel “deluxe” Could be all the options in the menu, could be the lovely big scrabble pieces… I’m not sure.

This game has so many options! You can play up to four players, any combination of human and computer. You also get to select the ability of the computer players from novice to professional, then kick off the game.

Player 1 goes first, which is probably you, start from the star in the middle. When the subsequent players have their turn their tiles will appear along the bottom. When you get towards the end of the game it gets a bit slow, the computer takes more time to think because everyone is left with V’s, Q’s, Z’s and X’s usually.

A timer is available if you want to turn it on, that stops the computer thinking too long and forces them to pass. A useful feature if you’re hot-seating too and want to make sure your retarded brother doesn’t take too long. Also, you can turn of “s-words”, which is when someone dumps an “S” onto the end of the word and plurals it. You can turn off the “2-letter” words too, which can add a challenge.

There are some useful tools available to help during the game. One of the most useful would definitely be the anagram solver. Enter your letters, or a combination of letters and it’ll recommend words. There is a crossword solver (erm, if you’re doing a crossword sometime it might be useful…) There’s also a definition feature, if you want to find out what a word means. The computer doesn’t cheat though, so you don’t need to worry. However, don’t YOU be attempted to cheat, because yes, you can add words to the dictionary.

There are so many other features and configurations for this game. I’d be here all day listing them all. This game is magnificent. If you can’t get people at home to play Scrabble with you, or you don’t think it’s worth forking out $40 for the board game then you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this.

Oh yeah baby. Hehe, such an adorable game. If you’ve read my other reviews for Slicks, or Race you’ll probably begin to understand that I happen to have a soft spot for cute little racing games

Ironman Offroad (a.k.a. Offroad) is so cool. You are these little offroad 4×4 things that race around the track. You bounce, crash, crash some more, hit walls, crash and then crash. It’s all good fun. You can have 1 v 1+ sharing the kb (see Slicks for multiplayer keyboard sharing strategies e.g. biting, pushing, yelling, stealing the keyboard and running away). Groovy baby

This game has a lot of options when it comes to playing. You can play against the computer with up to 4 players total, you can play against others on the same keyboard as mentioned above. You can do one race, or a championship.

Oh, did I mention the nitro? NITRO!! You hit the nitro button; out comes some smoke and brooooom, you get a nitro boost. Of course nitro is not free, so as you travel around the tracks, you can get money, and special stuff.

It’s got great graphics and sound for its time. Little cute cars etc. It’s a lot like Micro Machines with its little trucks.

This game wasn’t very popular, but I loved it. It made a great change from SimCity. Its very similar to most sim games, but being on the moon has a whole new angle. You have to cope with starting a colony on the moon, making sure you can accommodate the right number of workers and tourists, as well as produce all the elements to sell on the markets. It’s a real management kind of sim game.

Like most sim games you start off with a certain amount of money, and every year you are given more money from NASA. But as you progress, you grow, and produce products to sell on the market such as LLOX, electronics, materials etc. That’s how you make money, therefore its good to keep an eye on the stock market and know when to buy and when to sell (hence the management type sim game).

When you are erecting the buildings all over the Moon, you have to make sure that everything is connected to both power and heating (must get quite cold there). You can have roads etc, and the moon colony soon turns into a big massive galactic city.

Here are some quotes I found from the back cover of the game (thanks to some fanatic’s Moonbase site):

“Select and clear a site for the Lunar colony … build landing pads … erect habitat modules … set up power stations and grids … create mining and processing facilities … supply essential life-support services to the colonists. Comprehensive socio- and economic models from KDT Industries – a NASA contractor – animate and enliven you base.”

“Explore the lunar surface for new mining sites. Process the raw materials you find into oxygen, water and helium-3, then use then internally or sell them to Mars missions. Build hotels for fat cats from Earth.”

Moonbase is a really fun game; it’s a shame it doesn’t work too well on modern PC’s. It won’t work on my Pentium 3, but I sometimes get lucky with my p200. It’s a very unstable game, so be careful! It dies at the stupidest times. I’d still give it a shot however, it’s a great challenge and you would enjoy it. It’s a good game for getting the feel of those really involved sim games.

Warning: Save your cash, you WILL run out of cash.

Important DO NOT attempt to run this game in pure DOS or allow it to create a DOS shortcut, it can seriously screw up your computer.

This game was released a few years later as Lunar Command, which will run on a modern PC. I recommend downloading this version instead.

Ah… Space Quest in the days when you could call your character whatever you liked – before you were always “Roger Wilco”. Space Quest back in the days where the emphasis was on the tricky puzzles and not the humour. Space Quest in the days of the “typical” Sierra RPG. It comes as no surprise that Space Quest is, very much, a typical Sierra RPG of the time.

For those of you who’ve seen Police Quest or Kings Quest, you’ll know what I mean. You walk a character around the platform-style level using the arrow keys (pressing the direction you’re already going in if you want to stop). If you’re not close enough to things, you can’t interact with them. That’s the graphical element of the game. The rest of the game is all conducted in text entries you make in the form of commands to your character (e.g. Pick up rock, kill dwarf, etc.).

Some people like the old-style text-RPGs and I often find them entertaining, except for those irritating moments when there’s something you’re SURE you can do, but you’ve got to find the right way to express it first. Especially when you have a blinkered writer who only puts in the entry “Look at console” rather than “Use console, use computer, use keyboard, type, etc. etc.” assuming that everyone will intimately know the working’s of the programmer’s mind. If they don’t, hey – why are they playing the game?

During Space Quest, I found myself stuck for 10 minutes at one computer screen trying to work out what I was supposed to do. “Push button, press button, use button, look at button”. I tried “press switch, turn knob, use thing” everything that I could think of to describe the action of pushing a button. My friend suggested that since the button is labelled “Open Door”, why not type “Push open door button”. He was right. Then again, he failed dismally at using any of the vital computers because he didn’t think of “look at console”.

Space Quest, I am convinced, was play-tested only by the people who wrote the game. They tested whether it was physically possible to go from start to finish – not whether it was actually possible for someone who’d never seen the game before to complete it. Sierra also love to make their puzzles complicated, which really doesn’t help. Nowhere is there a handy syntax list of available commands, or any indication of what you’re actually supposed to be doing. You just keep on trying until you go insane, get forced to resort to a walkthrough or burst a blood vessel after dying yet again after doing the slightest thing wrong.

Did I mention the start of the game? You’re on a ship invaded by aliens (who walk around randomly and kill you on-sight, your only warning being that you hear footsteps, which doesn’t tell you from which direction) which is about to blow up (you have about 10 minutes to escape)…but you don’t know it’s about to blow up – and the only way you can get out is to wait in a room for at least half a minute for a wounded scientist to appear. You don’t know he’s coming, so what would possess you to wait in a room doing nothing for half a minute if the ship is counting down to explode?

Sadly, Space Quest did actually have all the ingredients for a really great game. Sure, the interface was bad (and they didn’t get that sorted out until Space Quest 5) and it was exceptionally complicated and difficult, but the ideas were there…and once Sierra realised that the humour was what made the game great, not the difficulty of the puzzles, they were onto a winner.

Graphics: 5/10: Typical Sierra RPG graphics of the time. Blocky, expressionless, slow-moving sprites. Difficult sometimes to tell what objects are in a room.
Sound: 3/10: Even though digital sound was around in other games, Space Quest uses the internal sound card. There’s nothing special at all about the sounds, but because it has the Space Quest theme, it gets a 3.
Gameplay: 0/10: Honestly, give me the monkey who wrote the interface and I’ll introduce him to a queue of people who want to shoot him for making the game almost unplayable.
Originality: 9/10: A very original idea, which later went on to the comic mastery which was Roger Wilco – rivalling Monkey Island.
Long-Term Interest: 1/10: After you’ve completed it, you’ll never want to go back. Most likely, unless you’re really determined, you’ll never get past the second (or even the first) section of the game.
Overall: 3/10: Typically difficult Sierra RPG which really ruins a great idea.

Note: This game was originally made in 1986, the VGA version was released in 1990.

I remember I helped my sister buy a computer for the business that her and her husband ran. It was a top of the line 486 with 16mb ram, and a CD player… yes can you believe it, it had a CD player.. and this was no wimpy sx system but a dx. That system rocked. At the same time they bought that computer I got my very first CD-ROM game. Space quest 4.

This game was not only sweet on the graphics, but the thing would talk to you. It had voice I kid you not, real life voice on it. I remember playing this game for hours. It was funny, it was neat to look at, and did I mention it talked to you? Well about a month ago my granddad in-law gave me the full collection of space quest games he found in a bargain bin. First game I went to on that was space quest 4, and would I be disappointed after all these years, and after all this advancement in games? No way. The game is still very cartoon like, and still very funny. There are easy puzzles in it, there are hard puzzles in it. If you are a space quest fan you will especially like the little sequence where you travel back to space quest one and play on the old EGA graphics.

The point and click is easy to use, and the only draw back with the voice is that the narrator does get a little annoying after telling you for the tenth time that you can’t click there. The death sequences are fun to go through, and the story is up to space quest standards.

I have played all space quest games many times now and this one is still my favorite of all of them. You will not be disappointed on this. And though this download may not have the voice (don’t know if it does or not) you will still laugh at this game. And another thing that makes it great is that any one of any age can play it. Nothing crude nothing obscene just good clean fun.

I give this game a four out of five on the paully scale.

This game is AWESOME! I used to sit up for ages with my friend Leonie and we would try and nut out the hardest ones. For a game this has some dang hard levels! I can’t actually say that I have completed them all, and then we take into account that there were more games made in this series!

There are so many things you use in this game, such as cats, mice, goldfish bowls, boxing gloves, trampolines, monkeys and electric fans. You get the idea. You are given an array of objects, and a task to complete. For example you can be given a bowling ball, pair of scissors and a balloon. Your task is to use these objects to pop the balloon. Of course this is a very basic idea of what you could be faced with. It gets to the stage where you have a whole heap of objects, a small screen and you have to make the cat fall down, pop 5 balloons and also make the 5 mice run and the fishbowl shatter . It turns into a real brainteaser.

As you complete tasks, they get harder and harder as you progress through the levels. But there are so many levels! If you complete all the tasks/levels (and if you do I salute you), then you can go into freeform mode, and just go hard with all the wacky parts and create your own monster levels. Very, very cool . I of course had my work cut out for me with the levels and challenges in the game, but to make some really strange things was so much fun. Hitting the cat with the bowling ball was fun . Yes, that’s right, you can live out those fantasies of hurting that cat that just wouldn’t cooperate when you were trying to do a level in the game! Make killer levels for your smart-arse friends that think they own The Incredible Machine

This game is great for making your mind work really hard, and also for coming up with the wackiest contraptions. You almost feel like MacGyver playing this, in fact I’d suggest getting the MacGyver theme song and playing it for inspiration while you play this game. Also the music would be a great improvement on the music that is in the game. The music is umm.. awful? Yeah, that’s a good word for it. The music is really bad =

The graphics must have been where all that part of the budget or the time went. The graphics are excellent! All the little parts have been drawn so well, and the animations as fans turning, rockets launching, guns shooting or the monkey riding the bike are so cool too. Everything is drawn really well in the game, and the menu’s etc are all really cool too. A huge thumbs up for the graphics!

This game is great. It will keep you occupied forever. You can just keep on playing it, because there are over 100 levels. By the time you have completed them all and made some fun things in freeform, you can play it again. I can’t remember the solutions to many of the levels; I could go through right now and end up just as psyched out as when I first played it.

A puzzle game like no other, have a play. Torture the cat and kill that goldfish. Tease the monkey while at it

Zeliard was originally published in Japan in 1987; Sierra released it in the United State in 1990.

It was intended to be a solo-player RPG, but most of the time it’s a platform adventure game. It has some great RPG parts, like when you go into the Weapon and Armour Shop and purchase new weapons or repair your old ones etc. In the other parts of the game you’re pretty much scrolling sideways and enjoying a really nice looking platform game. In my opinion, it’s a good balance of both, and thoroughly enjoyable.

This is a really nice game to look at, the colours are good (EGA) and the layout is simple and unique. When you get to the parts of the game with scenery, the scenery is drawn really well. Even the scenery in CGA is rather nice! They sure knew how to make the best with what they had.

Sound: PC speaker!!

The weapons, spells, simplistic character building, a good storyline and such cute graphics make for a really fun game. Plus, who doesn’t want to save a princess?

Bonus, you can use a joystick if you want – yay.

Ahh Dune.

“A beginning is a very delicate time. Know then that it is the year 10191. The known universe is ruled by the Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV, my father.

In this time, the most precious substance in the universe is the spice melange. The spice extends life, the spice expands consciousness, the spice is vital to space travel. The Spacing Guild and its navigators, who the spice has mutated over four thousand years, use the orange spice gas which gives them the ability to fold space. That is travel to any part of the universe without moving.
Oh yes, I forgot to tell you, the spice exists on only one planet in the entire universe : a desolate, dry planet with vast deserts. Hidden away within the rocks of these deserts are a people known as Fremen who have long held a prophecy, that a man would come, a messiah, who would lead them to true freedom.
The planet is Arrakis, also known as… DUNE.”

Although it was eclipsed by it’s better known sequel, this is without a doubt my favourite of the two games. Dune is a strategy/adventure hybrid that casts you as Paul Atreides of the house Atreides (suprisingly), charged by the Emperor of the known Universe to manage the extraction of the spice melange, the most precious substance known to humankind.

The game can be divided into two parts. The first person adventure part which deals with the plot is by far the most enjoyable, and fans of the movie or the book will enjoy it immensely (the plot itself is a mix of elements from both). The strategy part deals with spice extraction (the emperor expects you to meet a quota, or he will send in his sardakur shock troops) and combat – and it compliments the advanture elements well.

Graphicaly the game is stunning (for the time anyway) and it has the same great sense of atmosphere that was found in the movie. The desert scenes particularly are a work of art – especialy those dealing with Paul’s ‘visions’ ( but musn’t say too much about that, don’t wanna give them game away )

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable game that will appeal to fans and non fans of the Dune series (and if you havent read at least the first book then go get copy now you fool!)

Okay to start off you should know that I am referring to the games on the ZX Spectrum (128k for the tech-heads). This is because more games came out on the Specky (Spectrum) and its that which the games were originally coded on (they were ported to many other systems including the Amiga and the PC).

Okay, so you may be asking, “so what the hell is Dizzy?” Well, it’s a game that was made on the ZX Spectrum in the 1980′s but finished its reign on the PC and Mega-Drive (Genesis for the Americans). The basic concept of the game is that you are a egg that is called surprisingly enough Dizzy, you are part of a small village that has “the yolk folk” inhabiting it. The Yolk Folk are your family and friends.

The basic plot is unusually the same in these games “Zack the evil wizard has captured Dizzy’s friends and girlfriend, Dizzy is obviously pissed at this and sets off the find his friends to defeat the evil wizard Zack”. You accomplish this task by jumping around many, many screens of pure fun picking up objects and solving tasks.

In all there were 7 PURE Dizzy games (Dizzy, Treasure Island Dizzy, Fantasy Land Dizzy, Magicland Dizzy, Spellbound Dizzy, Prince Of The Yolk Folk and Crystal Kingdom Dizzy. (There was another game called Fantasitic Adventures of Dizzy that was released on the Mega-Drive and the PC but I don’t count that as being pure for reasons specified later). Dizzy also formed a few Spin-offs, the obvious ones being Kwik Snax (which was a puzzle game that had a super cool Dizzy rock band in it ), Fast Food Dizzy (PAC-Man Rip-off ), Dizzy Down The Rapids (Action game involving Dizzy in a barrel and apples), Panic Dizzy (another puzzle game) and Bubble Dizzy (in which you had been thrown off a pirate ship into the deep water and have to find you way up to the surface by riding bubbles. Hell a magazine (crash magazine) even made its own version of Dizzy (Dizzy 3 1/2) as the release of Dizzy 4 was getting close.

If you’re still in puzzlement of why the creators (the Oliver Twins), created their whole game around a load off eggs! Then think of it this way; Mario is one of the best selling game series ever and that is about a Italian plumber created by some guys in Japan… go figure?

Prince of the Yolkfolk:
Well this is another game in which people should download if they are not sure, as this one is very user friendly. But I have to say it’s the second easiest of the group (being so easy my 6 year old niece got quite far in it, but then she had to go home as it was tea time. I digress again)

In this game, Daisy has gone missing and the king has left the kingdom again :O something must be wrong. You start off trapped in a house under the ground with a locked door blocking your only way out, your only objects to hand are a pile of leaves, matches and water (Humm whatever shall we do).

Your tasks range from visiting heaven to crossing the river Stinx (the so-called river that you have to cross to get to hell). This game has great graphics and sound and is great fun to spend a while sitting in front of the computer staring at an egg bounce around).

Music:
Just HAD to put this in, the music is great! The tunes stick in your head for years.

Conclusion:
Defiantly worth getting, even if you’re not a fan of platformers. Gords
statement: ” Whoopee Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Boing Ahh crap I jumped in the water”

Bad things about Dizzy:
Yes there are some bad things about these games :O. Basically the controls are one, as you can sometimes jump too far or to short and you die, you can lose all of your lives on one small part like jumping over a lake. After you have got real far and that happens, you get pissed off quite a bit.

A whole new dimension to the world of car racing! This game is great to release all that pent-up stress It was the first game that bought together big giant guns, and a new way to win a car race.

I remember playing this game on my 286. That damn Melissa cow would always get ahead of me in her crappy red car ROAR. Then I would get my biggest missile out and blow her clean out of existence! WOOHOO! Take that! Hehe, I loved this game so much. I never really was one for car games, but Deathtrack is just so much fun!

When you first start you can chose between three different cars, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Some are faster, yet some have heavier armor and can kick harder ass. All are rather funky and threatening though. You then can take your car to the shop and buy weapons or parts. There are some serious weapons, such as missiles, caltrops, mines, machine guns and terminators etc. In the parts shop you can get faster engines, wheels, armor etc.

There are 10 different tracks, in 10 cities. Some of them are at night, some during the day. I liked the variety, as there were enough different tracks, but also not too many, which allowed you to learn them rather well. The more you win, the more money you get. The more money you get, you can buy weapons and car modifications. You NEED to buy weapons, so that you can blast the other drivers off the track, and also defend yourself. Because the less drivers alive on the track, the less people that can fire a missile at you.

When you play this game you will definitely need a slow down app, this game runs way too fast on anything higher then a 286. (You don’t want to try playing this on a p3, mark my words hehe).

This is an adventure game in which you journey all over looking for the Cheyenne goldmine. You can collect all kinds of strange objects and have an adventure and half trying to remember where you are.

You get to fight with some Indians, and the elements. You get cool weapons like axes, knives and guns. The game even ends with some coolies white water rafting

I didn’t get to hear any sound, but the graphics are actually really good. The game is not that old when compared to others I’ve played nonetheless I was still pleasantly surprised.

It’s your typical adventure game! Definitely give it a shot.

California Games 2 builds on the popularity of the first game with more events to compete in and better graphics and sound. Personaly I can’t say that I owned CG1 so my first experience with the games was playing this one.

The events themselves are diverse: skateboarding, downhill snowboarding, boogie boarding, jetski racing and hangliding. Some are better than others, for instance I became thoroughly addicted to the skateboarding, but could never really get into the jetski event – I guess it’s all a matter of taste.

I can’t really offer an opinion as to whether this game is better than the original (bunny and i will go have a good argue about it later – she has only ever played CG1 ) but I heartily recommend the game.

Great fun

Your typical jump ‘n’ run platform game, based on the characters of the same name. The plot is inconsequential (something about your record collection being stolen) all you need to know is that you take on the role of either Jake or Elwood Blues and um… jump ‘n’ run through various levels, avoiding baddies and collecting stuff as you go.

It’s a tried and tested, and therefore not very original formula.

The best thing about the game (casting my mind back to wehn I owned it on the Atari ST) is the ingame music. If you’ve seen anything from the comedy duo before (sketches, movies) then it will all be very familiar to you, and I have to admit that the choons are damn catchy.

*hums* eeeeeevvvvvverybody, neeeeeeeeds somebody, eeeeeeeeevery bodddy, neeeeeeds somebody to lov…

um.. yeeeeeeah, back to the review…

(btw, the music of the PC version just cannot compare to that of the ST or Amiga games, download the MOD music provided above and you’ll see).

The graphics are average, nicely drawn sprites and recognisable backdrops – useable but nothing out of the ordinary. The game is fun for the first few levels but like most games of this type it gets repetitive and somewhat boring quite fast. It’s a good game if you just want a quick blast, but don’t expect to want to stay up all night playing it.

Fun, but nothing special.
